The tribal textile industry has been in existence since time immemorial. It is a huge global commodity for India. A wide variety of apparel ranging from drapes to coat, jackets and cotton kurtas and sarees in a handwoven fabric is being created out of tribal textiles today. The cotton Kurtas/Kurtis are made from fabric, which is first hand woven and then hand stitched. The patterns on the neck and sleeves are made by way of patchwork with other hand-woven fabrics.
